Well, if you read my profile, you know that I am a Boston Terrier Puppy that lives in Illinois. If you didn't read my profile, then, gee, why are you reading my blog? are you really that bored?
Okay, so I started this blog to tell you what my life is like. here's a little bit more about me...
I don't know exactly when or where I was born. My first recollection is when I met my family, the Stringers. Last Saturday night, I was staying at there sister Val's home and Val and Butch wouldn't let me stay. I didn't know what was going to happen to me. I had (and still have) a dislocated shoulder. Val and Butch have a big Golden Retriever named Huey. Huey's kind of a wimp. I could scare him off by swinging my cast at him.

Well, anyway... The Stringers lost power at their home around noon and came over around 7 PM, because it was getting pretty cold in their house. I played with the kids and let them pet me and generally did everything I could to make them love me. I really wanted to get away from that house I was in and besides I didn't know who would take me, if anyone, so I just did my best. So they didn't take me home that night, but from hearing about how cold it was in their home once power came back on at 10 PM, I'm pretty glad about that.
So then on Monday, Dad caved in and told Mom to call Butch up and bring me over. (Dad likes to pretend he doesn't love me, but I know its just an act.) Well, on Tuesday Mom and the kids (they have three, did I mention that???), took me to the vet. I had my shoulder looked at again and got a new cast put on. Because it was so close to Valentine's Day, they gave me a red cast with a pink heart on it. I guess at this point I better explain how I get my name and all that, otherwise you might start to wonder about this guy that likes pink hearts. Here's the scoop, I'm one tough puppy. I mean, I took on Huey and made him look foolish, even with a dislocated shoulder. I've got one leg that will probably be shorter than the other all of my life. I've lost all feeling in my toes on that leg. So Mom (who loves Sylvester Stallone, and all the Rocky movies), said, "He needs a tough name, because he's a tough dog." There were allot of suggestions, like Spike and Tuffy, but Mom said, "No, it is Rocky." So, that's how I got my name.
Next time I'll tell you a little more about my family and what's been going on since they got me (potty training, and other fun stuff).
I hope you like my blog. If you do, share it with your friends and visit me often.

Hi Rocky,
Welcome to the family! I can't wait to meet you!
Hey Rock, are you going to help the kitchen lady out?
Of course I'll help the kitchen lady out. Eveytime she drops something on the floor, I'll clean it up for her. No more crumbs in this house!
I really love the new cast, Rocky. I know that you got it to honor your favorite Auntie Val!!!
Also, the cat's name is Gracie, not Adriann! Oh and Huey said he let you win the wrestling match because he felt sorry for ya, haha.
Hi, Rocky,
I'm glad they didn't name you Tuffy. One Tuffie in the family is enough. Because I'm Tuffie, your border collie cousin.
My Mom wants to get me a brother or sister. Guess since they can't have you, they'll get some big dog and name it Bullwinkle.
David thinks you look like a squirrel, but I think he's nuts.
Love,
Tuffie
