700 in Dog Years!

Today Mom, Dad, Aidan and Joey went up north to visit Grandpa's Aunt Grace. Aunt grace turned 100 today! That is really amazing! What is even more amazing is that she is so healthy and sharp. She is really a lady in the true sense of the word. Dad told me all about her and took a couple of pictures to show me and you.

Rhiannon was at a retreat with the youth group from church, so she missed the fun. well, I did too, but Dad told me all about it.

Aunt Grace got a letter from President and Mrs. Bush.
They had the party at Leona's which is a great Italian restaurant. Grandma and Grandpa came to Chicago from Virginia to see Aunt Grace. Aunt Patty was there and so was Aunt Grace's son, Grant. They all had a great time!

Yesterday Aidan made a snowman. Overnight it warmed up and today it reached 60°F! Here are some before and after photos. The snowman literally disappeared overnight! Don't you wish you could lose weight that fast!

Happy New Year

2008 Arrived! I didn't even know it, until; this morning, but it is a new year. The family all went out last night and put me to bed. They came home late and made me go outside. It was so cold and there was allot of snow and wind and brrrr....

Anyway, this morning Dad told me that it was a new year, 2008.

Did I tell you that Mom got a new camera for Christmas. She's learning how to take pictures. here is one from Christmas.

So going back to Christmas for a minute, I told you I got a new bed. Well, Joey decided that he liked my new bed. He absconded it, so I had to find a new place to sleep.

We got a whole lot of snow again. It was blowing and drifting. It made it hard to go outside to use the bathroom this morning. We must have gotten 8 inches of snow, but the wind drifted it around and it is really deep in some places. Now if it getting really cold. It is probably going to be below 10°F tonight. It's 12° tight now as I am typing this.

Rhiannon is going away on retreat with church youth group this weekend. dad has been off from work, so that's been kind of nice. Everyone is healthy and the new year is starting out just fine (but cold!).
