Summer Arrives

It's Memorial Day Weekend and it seems like summer got here.  It was really warm yesterday and it is pretty warm today.

Dad took Aidan and Joey to the beach today.

Last night Aidan and Rhi went to Night at the Museum 2.  They loved it.

Garage Sale

Yesterday we had our annual Garage Sale.  Nano and Papa were a huge help.  Huey and I had to stay inside most of the day, but we did get outside when things quieted down.  There were hundreds of people who came and we sold allot of junk.  the weather was perfect.

Happy Easter!

This Easter we had Huey visiting. 

Huey and I have been having fun.  Huey got a big bunny for Easter.  I tried to take it away and he almost killed me.  Other than that, we've been getting along great.

Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday!

Today is Aidan's birthday.  There were two parties for him yesterday.  One for his friends at Coyote Canyon (the all you can eat buffet), and one with the family in the evening.

Aidan got all kinds of good stuff and lots of candy.

He also got this cool Lego castle from Grandma and Grandpa.  He worked on it for hours.

Visit to a Dairy Farm

Dad took Rhi and Aidan to a dairy farm.  They watched a cow give birth to a baby calf.  Dad made a video of it.

They had a great time.

Aidan Gets His Red Belt

Aidan completed his testing for his Red Belt in Soo Bahk Do.  This video shows him practicing with his instructor.  Soo Bahk Do has been very good for him.  It has taught him confidence and respect.

Actually he needs to retest.  He just got the results.  He'll be ready this month though!

Autism Awreness Sunday

Today (2/8/09) is Autism Awareness Sunday.  Mom and Dad were interviewed about Joey.  The video was shown during their church service.  You can watch it here.

Spring Arrives

We had a big surprise today.  Spring came unexpectedly.  It was over 60°F.  All that's left of Aidan's snowman is in the picture below.
Aidan and Dad went to Chicago.  They visited the Lego Store.  Aidan loves his Legos.

I got my nails trimmed.  I hate when they do that.  Aidan took me for a walk and Joey rode his bike.  What a great day!

Dissecting and Snowmen

I really hate winter.  It has been so cold.  Well, it finally warmed up a bit. It's been so cold Aidan couldn't even make a snowman.  Today Aidan and Dad made a snowman.

Mom has been teaching biology at the Home School Coop.  Here are some of her students dissecting a worm.  Yuck!

Aidan had a test yesterday in Soo Bahk Do for his Red Belt.  If he passed he will be a "senior" which means he has to be responsible to teach and be an example to newer students.

A Snowy Day

We got a whole bunch of snow today.  I really hate snow.  It makes my belly cold when I go outside.  Aidan and Dad played outside and tried to make a snowman, but it was too cold and the snow wouldn't pack right.  So they made a snaowman face.

Later there was this kind of creepy sunset.
